L\u2019has vist algun cop reflexat en la teva factura el\u00e8ctrica en forma d\u2019Euros? En aquest escrit pretenem explicar-te clarament que \u00e9s el factor de potencia, quines son les raons per les quals la companyia ha de penalitzar a l\u2019usuari quan aquest factor \u00e9s baix, i com corregir-lo.<\/p>\n<p>Per entendre aquest concepte, comen\u00e7arem explicant que el comportament dels circuits el\u00e8ctrics es regeix per una llei\u00a0 coneguda mundialment com la <strong>llei d\u2019Ohm<\/strong>. Aquesta separa els termes d\u2019Intensitat el\u00e8ctrica i voltatge, relacionant-los de la seg\u00fcent forma:<\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0V= I\u00b7 R<\/b><\/p>\n<p>D\u2019aquesta formula es pot obtenir el c\u00e0lcul de la pot\u00e8ncia:<\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 P= V\u00b7 I<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Aix\u00ed doncs,<strong> la potencia dep\u00e8n de la Intensitat i el Voltatge<\/strong>. Tenint en compte que el voltatge subministrat a les vivendes \u00e9s sempre de 230V, podem dir que el consum de pot\u00e8ncia dep\u00e8n \u00fanicament de la intensitat que utilitzem, \u00e9s a dir, del nombre d\u2019aparells que connectem en els diversos circuits de la casa.<\/p>\n<p>Per tal que la potencia sigui sempre positiva, i per tant potencia \u00fatil que es pugui transformar en energia, el factor de potencia haur\u00e0 de ser 1 o molt proper a 1. El <strong>factor de potencia indica el desfasament entre la intensitat i el voltatge<\/strong>, \u00e9s a dir, si la intensitat es dona abans que el voltatge, si \u00e9s el voltatge el que es dona abans que la intensitat, o si pel contrari els dos estan en fase. Fent refer\u00e8ncia ara a matem\u00e0tiques b\u00e0siques, observem que quan es multiplica un nombre negatiu per un positiu el resultat obtingut \u00e9s negatiu, en canvi quan es multipliquen dos\u00a0 nombres positius entre ells o dos nombres negatius entre ells, el resultat \u00e9s positiu.<\/p>\n<p>En els gr\u00e0fics que podreu observar a continuaci\u00f3, exposarem el cas en el que el factor de potencia \u00e9s 1 i per tant intensitat i voltatge estan en fase, i el cas en el que el factor de potencia \u00e9s inferior, provocant que intensitat i voltatge es trobin desfasats entre ells. Com podreu observar en el primer gr\u00e0fic, sempre que la corba d\u2019intensitat \u00e9s positiva, la del voltatge tamb\u00e9, i sempre que la corba d\u2019intensitat \u00e9s negativa, la del voltatge tamb\u00e9. Aix\u00ed, tal com hem explicat anteriorment, quan dos valors negatius o positius es multipliquen, el resultat obtingut es sempre positiu. D\u2019aquesta forma, <strong>quan I i V es trobin en fase, la potencia obtinguda ser\u00e0 sempre positiva.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">D\u2019altre banda, quan el factor de potencia \u00e9s inferior a 1, hi ha moments en que el voltatge i la intensitat son de signe contrari, provocant aix\u00ed una potencia de signe negatiu. Aquesta potencia no es pot utilitzar, i \u00e9s l\u2019anomenada potencia reactiva.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Un cop explicat el terme des d\u2019una perspectiva m\u00e9s matem\u00e0tica, concretarem quin \u00e9s definitivament l\u2019impacta que t\u00e9 aquesta potencia reactiva sobre la nostra instal\u00b7laci\u00f3:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provocar\u00e0 haver de<strong> sobredimensionar<\/strong> els circuits el\u00e8ctrics per tal que puguin suportar aquesta c\u00e0rrega de potencia in\u00fatil.<\/li>\n<li>Comportar\u00e0 la<strong> disminuci\u00f3 de la vida \u00fatil<\/strong> d\u2019equips i a\u00efllants.<\/li>\n<li>Tamb\u00e9 provocar\u00e0 haver de<strong> pagar un rec\u00e0rrec a la factura el\u00e8ctrica<\/strong> si el terme de potencia \u00e9s inferior a 0,95.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tamb\u00e9 \u00e9s important explicar quines son les raons que provoquen que les companyies distribu\u00efdores apliquin rec\u00e0rrecs sobre els usuaris que tinguin un factor de potencia massa baix:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Els hi suposa haver de sobredimensionar les l\u00ednees de distribuci\u00f3 i els transformadors, ja que han de proporcionar molta m\u00e9s potencia aparent per tal que el client obtingui la mateixa potencia \u00fatil.<\/li>\n<li>Aix\u00f2 provoca caigudes de tensi\u00f3 m\u00e9s elevades i vida m\u00e9s curta d\u2019equips i a\u00efllants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Per tal de corregir aquest factor de potencia, s\u2019ha d\u2019instal\u00b7lar en molts casos una bateria de condensadors. La funci\u00f3 d\u2019aquesta bateria \u00e9s la de posar en fase la Intensitat i el voltatge, de forma que la potencia reactiva desaparegui, convertint-se en potencia \u00fatil.
