In JAG Alcaide we know how important it is to keep your water boiler or heater in the best conditions to work, in order to avoid having an excessive energy waste, a bad performance or too much polluting emissions. When the boiler or heater isn’t being taken care of it may even cost the costumer money, by wasting unnecessary energy, and in the worst cases it may also affect the customers’ safety.
In order to avoid this from happening,we offer you the chance to sign a maintenance contract with us, putting your heater or water boiler in the hands of our experts, who will offer you the best possible service. The following services are the ones included in our maintenance contract:
Maintenance contract or call when something breaks?
Most people only call a technician when the boiler has already failed — usually in the middle of winter and as an emergency. The problem is that an emergency repair costs between €80 and €250 in labour alone, plus parts. And if the boiler hasn’t been serviced in years, the chances of it failing are significantly higher.
An annual maintenance contract with JAG Alcaide for €100 + VAT covers that labour and all callouts throughout the year. In other words: if your boiler breaks down in December, you pay nothing extra. The contract already covers it.

What do we actually do during the annual service?
The maintenance visit is not a quick visual check. Our technician carries out a full service that includes:
- Cleaning the burner and heat exchanger, where limescale and soot build up and reduce efficiency.
- Combustion analysis using a calibrated Testo meter, which measures whether the boiler is burning gas efficiently or wasting energy.
- Pressure checks and bleeding of the heating circuit if needed.
- Inspection of the thermostat, safety valve and ignition systems.
- Check of other gas appliances in the property (hob, water heater if applicable).
- Issue of the official maintenance certificate required under RITE (RD 238/2013).
At the end of the visit, the client receives the combustion report with all measured parameters. This is not just a formality — it is proof that the boiler is running safely and at peak efficiency.
But what’s the real utility of having a maintenance contract with JAG Alcaide?

Being us an independent company, not depending from any big firm, we can’t make the misstake of not solving peoples problems, that’s why our technicians have a lot of training and great experience as technical service and can fix any problem your boiler has.
In second place, knowing that if something happens to your boiler, you’ll have a technical service that will be able to fix the problem and do it as fast as possible. 90% of times we leave the boiler working, even if the solutions are provisional.

This is obtained in the annual revision where the technical service will regulate all the boiler and will provide the client with a combistion ticket in order to proof the boilers condition.

Frequently asked questions about the maintenance contract
Does the contract cover all boiler brands? Yes. We work with all major brands: Junkers, Bosch, Vaillant, Baxi, Ariston, Ferroli, Fagor and others. We are an official Junkers Bosch service centre, but we service any boiler regardless of manufacturer.
Are spare parts included? The contract covers labour and callouts for all breakdowns during the year. Spare parts are quoted separately if needed, but contract clients receive priority service and preferential pricing.
When does the contract take effect? As soon as it is signed. The first annual service visit is scheduled at a time agreed with the client.
Can I take out a contract if my boiler is more than 15 years old? Yes, although with older boilers we may identify parts that need replacing during the first visit. We will always inform you before carrying out any additional work.
Is the emergency service available all year round? The emergency service operates during the winter period (October to April), when boiler problems tend to be most urgent.
