Is the MSZ-AY50VGK the right unit for you?
At 5 kW it comfortably covers rooms of 40-50 m². The AY series is Mitsubishi’s premium wall-mounted range: built-in Wi-Fi, Plasma Quad filter and among the quietest units we install.
If your room is smaller, the MSZ-AY42VGK (€2,060) is plenty and costs less. It is the largest in its series: for more floor area look at a ducted system or a multi-split.

The MELCloud WiFi control allows you to control the air conditioning unit through any Smartphone, Tablet, or PC, and is integrated into the unit as standard. In addition to controlling the unit, MELCloud provides electrical consumption information through the App so that you can always know your electrical consumption.
Heat pump with exterior temperature of -20Cº

How many square metres does the MSZ-AY50VGK cover? With 5 kW of cooling, roughly rooms of 40-50 m² with normal ceiling height and insulation. If the room gets a lot of sun, is a top-floor flat or has high ceilings, we confirm it during the free visit before installing anything.
What if the pipe run between units is longer than 3 m? The price includes up to 3 m of pipework between the indoor and outdoor unit, which covers most flats. If your case needs more, a different location or building work, it is quoted in writing at the pre-installation visit, before we start.
Does the MSZ-AY50VGK have Wi-Fi? Yes, Wi-Fi control is included: you control it from your phone with the manufacturer's app, also away from home. We set it up at commissioning.
Is it noisy? The indoor unit goes down to 28 dB(A) in quiet mode, less than a low-voice conversation. The outdoor unit is around 52 dB(A), normal for a façade or light-well installation.
Who does the installation? Our own technicians, approved installers in Barcelona since 1953. Installation by an accredited technician is what activates the manufacturer's full warranty.
