Who is this 2×1 for?
For air-conditioning two rooms with a single unit outside. It pairs two Perfera splits, Daikin’s top-of-the-range wall-mounted unit, very quiet and with built-in wifi.
- 2MXM50A8 outdoor unit: 5 kW cooling and 5.6 kW heating.
- A+++ for cooling (SEER 8.67) and A++ for heating (SCOP 4.61): it is a heat pump, so it also heats in winter.
- 19 dB(A) per indoor unit at its lowest speed.
- Built-in wifi.
- R-32 refrigerant.

If one of the rooms is a living room, very sunny or open to the kitchen, 3.5 kW is usually better for that room: we check it from your photos or, if needed, on a visit.

- Average cooling performance over the whole season: 8.67 kWh of cooling for every kWh of electricity. It is the outdoor unit figure given by the manufacturer.

- The same for heating, in an average European climate.

- Noise of each indoor unit at its lowest speed. For the outdoor unit Daikin publishes the sound power level (60 dB(A)), which cannot be compared with the indoor units’ noise.

Frequently asked questions about the FTXM35A + FTXM35A
How many square metres does the FTXM35A + FTXM35A cover? With 3.5 + 3.5 kW of cooling, roughly rooms of 15-25 / 15-25 m² with normal ceiling height and insulation. If the room gets a lot of sun, is a top-floor flat or has high ceilings, we confirm it from the photos you send (or on a visit, if needed) before installing anything.
What if the pipe run between units is longer than 3 m? The price includes up to 3 m of pipework between the indoor and outdoor unit, which covers most flats. If your case needs more, a different location or building work, it is quoted in writing before we start.
Does the FTXM35A + FTXM35A have Wi-Fi? Yes, Wi-Fi control is included: you control it from your phone with the manufacturer's app, also away from home. We set it up at commissioning.
Who does the installation? Our own technicians, approved installers in Barcelona since 1953. Installation by an accredited technician is what activates the manufacturer's full warranty.
