Who is the Condens 5300i WT 24/48 for?
It is the Junkers Bosch boiler with a built-in 48-litre cylinder: designed for homes where two showers often run at the same time. It is larger than a standard wall-hung boiler (90 × 60 × 51 cm), so the space needs checking.

How to read the specifications
- 22 kW heating
- Maximum output for the radiators. With the floor area and photos of the radiators we check it is right before confirming it.
- 30.7 kW hot water
- Roughly 18 litres per minute heated by 25 °C (our own calculation from the output): enough for one or two bathrooms. The 48-litre cylinder also allows two showers at the same time, according to the manufacturer.
- Condensing
- It recovers heat from the steam in the flue gases, which is why it needs a drain for the condensate.
- 93% seasonal efficiency
- Average space-heating efficiency over the year, according to the manufacturer.

A thermostat for your boiler: Bosch OR 100 RF or EasyControl CT 200
When you buy your Junkers Bosch Condens 5300i WT 24/48 boiler, for only €100 more we install the Bosch OR 100 RF thermostat: a wireless programmable room thermostat using radio frequency, with Comfort, Eco and Auto modes, weekly time programming and a boost heating mode. It runs on batteries and talks to the boiler without cables.
If you would rather control it from your phone, we install the Bosch EasyControl CT 200 Wi-Fi thermostat with your boiler for 195€ more (€100 less than installing it separately): a programmable modulating thermostat with Wi-Fi, controlled with the Bosch EasyControl app.

What can change the price
The price includes removing the old boiler and a standard room-sealed flue. The following are quoted separately, in writing and before we start:
- A long flue run or one that does not meet current regulations.
- A condensate drain if there is none nearby.
- Moving the boiler to another place.
- A Wi-Fi thermostat or programmer, if not included.
- Cleaning the circuit or replacing radiators and valves.

How long does a boiler replacement take? Fixed quote the same day from the photos you send us on WhatsApp (if a visit is needed, within 24-48 hours) and replacement in a single day. From November to January it is best to book ahead.
Are there grants for replacing the boiler? It depends on the call currently open in Catalonia. If there is one, we provide the installation documents.
