Who is the TXF50F for?
It is Daikin’s entry-level range: a simple, reliable split with the Daikin brand and service at a moderate price. As a guide, for a room of 35-45 m².
- R-32 refrigerant.
- Optional Wi-Fi, with the manufacturer’s module.
- A++ for cooling (SEER 6.5) and A+ for heating (SCOP 4.1): it is a heat pump, so it also heats in winter.

- Average cooling performance over the whole season: 6.5 kWh of cooling for every kWh of electricity. Label consumption: 269 kWh per year for cooling.
- SCOP 4.1
- The same for heating, in an average European climate. In a warm climate, such as the coast, it rises to 5.17.
- 31 dB(A)
- Indoor unit noise at its lowest speed; at top speed it reaches 45 dB(A). The outdoor unit gives 48 dB(A).
- Operating range
- Heats with outdoor temperatures down to -15 °C.
- Pipework
- Allows up to 30 m of pipe between units (20 m height difference). The price includes 3 m.
- Indoor unit dimensions
- 286 × 770 × 225 mm (height × width × depth).

The price is fixed for a standard installation. These cases are quoted separately, in writing and before we start:
- More than 3 m of piping between the indoor and outdoor units.
- Special brackets, a roof base or work at height.
- Condensate pump if there is no drain nearby.
- Chasing, building work or longer decorative trunking.
- New electrical line from the consumer unit.

Frequently asked questions about the TXF50F
What does the installed price of the TXF50F include? The unit (indoor unit, outdoor unit and remote control), VAT and the standard installation: up to 3 m of pipe between units, PVC trunking, condensate drain, vacuum and leak test, commissioning and removal of the old unit. It is installed by our own technicians and you get a 5-year written guarantee on the installation.
How many square metres is the TXF50F for? As a guide, 35-45 m². It depends on orientation, insulation, ceiling height and whether the room is open to others. Send us a few photos on WhatsApp and we will confirm the right size.
Does the TXF50F have Wi-Fi? Wi-Fi is optional: it is added with the manufacturer's module and we can include it in your quote.
What is the difference between the TXF50F and the TXM50A? They have a similar capacity. The TXF50F has SEER 6.5 and SCOP 4.1, with 31 dB(A) at its lowest speed; the TXM50A has SEER 7.55 and SCOP 4.75, with 31 dB(A). The higher the SEER and SCOP, the less it uses for cooling and heating.
How long does installation take? Usually less than a week from when you accept the quote. A standard split is installed in a morning.
Can it also be used for heating? Yes, it is a heat pump and heats with outdoor temperatures down to -15 °C. Its heating performance is SCOP 4.1 (A+).
