Mitsubishi Electric ducted air conditioning from 3.6 to 13.4 kW, in 7 capacities and a three-phase version: a single unit hidden in the false ceiling to heat and cool the whole home or premises.
The price includes the ducted indoor unit, the outdoor unit, the PAR-41 remote control, VAT and standard installation (refrigerant and electrical connection, drain and commissioning). Grilles, ductwork and false ceiling are quoted in writing before we start.
What is the MGPEZ PRO series and who is it for?
The MGPEZ PRO series is Mitsubishi Electric’s professional ducted range: a PEAD-SM indoor unit only 250 mm high, with static pressure adjustable up to 150 Pa for long duct runs, and a SUZ-SM outdoor unit (up to 7.1 kW) or PUZ-SM (from 9.5 kW). It is the one we usually install in flats, penthouses and premises in Barcelona when the whole home needs air conditioning without visible splits.
Choose the capacity according to the area to be conditioned: 3.6 and 5 kW for flats of up to 45 m² with two or three grilles; 6.1 and 7.1 kW for homes of 55-65 m²; 9.5 kW for 65-80 m²; and 12.1 or 13.4 kW for large homes and premises. The three-phase versions (YJA) are for premises and buildings with a three-phase supply.
PAR-41 remote control included
Every configuration comes with Mitsubishi Electric’s PAR-41 wall-mounted remote control: backlit display, menus in Spanish, weekly programming and diagnostic functions. It is the control we always install with ducted units.
MAC-597IF wifi control
The MGPEZ series does not come with wifi as standard. With Mitsubishi Electric’s MAC-597IF adapter you can control it from your phone with the MELCloud app, also when you are away from home, and it works with voice assistants. It is installed and set up when we commission the unit.
Mitsubishi PRO (MGPEZ) or Standard Inverter (MSPEZ)
The MSPEZ Standard Inverter series shares sizes and capacities, but with a SUZ-M/PUZ-M outdoor unit and higher seasonal efficiency (A++ for cooling versus A+ for the PRO in the domestic sizes). The PRO is the more affordable option and the one with the most static pressure; the Standard is the most efficient. From the photos and measurements we tell you which one suits you depending on the metres of duct.

What can change the price
The price is fixed for a standard installation. These cases are quoted separately, in writing and before we start:
- More than 3 m of piping between the indoor and outdoor units.
- Special brackets, a roof base or work at height.
- Condensate pump if there is no drain nearby.
- Chasing, building work or longer decorative trunking.
- New electrical line from the consumer unit.

Frequently asked questions about the MGPEZ-35VJA
What does the installed price include? The price includes the ducted indoor unit, the outdoor unit, the PAR-41 remote control, VAT and standard installation (refrigerant and electrical connection, drain and commissioning). Grilles, ductwork and false ceiling are quoted in writing before we start.
What capacity do I need? It depends on the floor area, orientation, ceiling height and how many rooms the same unit will serve. The capacity table shows the guide room size for each model; send us photos or plans on WhatsApp and we will confirm which one fits.
Do you need to visit to give a quote? We start with photos or plans on WhatsApp. For ducted, cassette or ceiling units we often need to see the false ceiling or the premises: if needed, we visit free of charge in Barcelona and the metropolitan area.
Can it also be used for heating? Yes, it is a heat pump: it cools in summer and heats in winter with the same unit.
Does it have Wi-Fi? It depends on the model: the capacity table shows whether Wi-Fi control is included or can be added as an option.
How long does installation take? It depends on the job: we give you the timescale in writing in the quote, before we start.
