Who is the TXM71A for?
It is Daikin’s top wall-mounted range: very efficient and designed for air quality. As a guide, for a room of 55-65 m².
- Flash Streamer and a silver-ion filter, which according to Daikin break down allergens such as pollen.
- 2-zone motion sensor: sends the air away from people and switches to energy-saving mode when nobody is there.
- Built-in Wi-Fi with Daikin’s Onecta app.
- A++ for cooling (SEER 6.2) and A+ for heating (SCOP 4.1): it is a heat pump, so it also heats in winter.
- 32 dB(A) at its lowest speed.

- More than 3 m of piping between the indoor and outdoor units.
- Special brackets, a roof base or work at height.
- Condensate pump if there is no drain nearby.
- Chasing, building work or longer decorative trunking.
- New electrical line from the consumer unit.

What does the installed price of the TXM71A include? The unit (indoor unit, outdoor unit and remote control), VAT and the standard installation: up to 3 m of pipe between units, PVC trunking, condensate drain, vacuum and leak test, commissioning and removal of the old unit. It is installed by our own technicians and you get a 5-year written guarantee on the installation.
How many square metres is the TXM71A for? As a guide, 55-65 m². It depends on orientation, insulation, ceiling height and whether the room is open to others. Send us a few photos on WhatsApp and we will confirm the right size.
Does the TXM71A have Wi-Fi? Yes, Wi-Fi control is built in: you use it with Daikin's Onecta app, also when you are away.
What is the difference between the TXM71A and the TXF71F? They have a similar capacity. The TXM71A has SEER 6.2 and SCOP 4.1, with 32 dB(A) at its lowest speed; the TXF71F has SEER 5.15 and SCOP 3.81, with 34 dB(A). The higher the SEER and SCOP, the less it uses for cooling and heating.
How long does installation take? Usually less than a week from when you accept the quote. A standard split is installed in a morning.
