Junkers Bosch Tronic 1001 T electric water heater from 150 to 200 litres, large capacity.
The price includes the water heater, VAT, removal of the old one, fitting and commissioning. It is installed by our own technicians; quote via WhatsApp from photos and, only if needed, a free visit in Barcelona and the metropolitan area.
Who is the Tronic 1001 T for?
It is the large-capacity water heater we install: 150 or 200 litres, hung vertically on the wall. It suits large families, homes with several bathrooms or a big bathtub, and households where several people shower one after another, when a 100-120 litre water heater falls short.
- 150 or 200 litres: 259 and 349 litres of water at shower temperature (40 °C), according to Bosch.
- 2.2 kW heating element and temperature adjustable up to 65 °C.
- High-resistance vitrified steel tank and a protective magnesium anode.
- 30 mm high-density polyurethane foam insulation.
- Wall or floor: it hangs vertically and, with a four-leg accessory (not included), can also stand on the floor.

For the same price as a 120-litre 4501 T, the 150-litre 1001 T gives more hot water (259 litres at 40 °C vs 174) and is almost as tall, but it takes up more width and much more depth. If the space is tight, the 115-litre 2000 T is narrower and cheaper. And if you need even more water, the 200-litre 1001 T.

How to read its technical data
- Energy class C
- Label consumption: 1,420 kWh a year for the 150-litre model (load profile M) and 2,723 kWh for the 200-litre one (profile L). The profile is the usage pattern each water heater is tested with: the larger it is, the more hot water is drawn in the test.
- 2.2 kW power
- The same heating element in both capacities.
- Heating time
- From 10 to 60 °C, according to Bosch: 256 min for the 150-litre model and 342 min for the 200-litre one.
- Mixed water at 40 °C (V40)
- The water at shower temperature you get from a hot tank: 259 litres from the 150 and 349 litres from the 200.
- Dimensions and weight
- Height × width × depth: 1,155 × 513 × 530 mm (150 L) and 1,475 × 513 × 530 mm (200 L). They weigh 34 and 43 kg empty, plus the weight of the water.
- Maximum pressure 8 bar
- If the building supply pressure is higher, a pressure reducer is needed. We check this from the photos or, if needed, on a visit.
What can change the price
The price includes removal of the old water heater, fitting and commissioning using the existing installation. Given the size and weight of these water heaters, we check the installation carefully from photos of the space and the wall and, if needed, on a visit. The following are quoted separately, in writing and before we start:
- Four-leg floor accessory (not included), if the wall cannot take the weight of the full water heater or you prefer it standing on the floor.
- A line from the consumer unit or a new socket, if the current installation is not suitable for 2.2 kW.
- Difficult access: flats without a lift, stairs or narrow passages through which a unit up to 1,475 mm tall has to be carried.
- A pressure reducer, if the supply exceeds 8 bar.
- Running the safety valve outlet to a drain and moving the water heater with new piping.

Does the electrical installation need changing? Not always. It has a 2.2 kW heating element; a photo of the fuse box and the socket lets us check the supply and the line. If they are not suitable, the new line is quoted separately and in writing before we start.
