Flat Junkers Bosch Tronic 4501 T electric water heater from 30 to 120 litres, vertical or horizontal.
The price includes the water heater, VAT, removal of the old one, fitting and commissioning. It is installed by our own technicians; quote via WhatsApp from photos and, only if needed, a free visit in Barcelona and the metropolitan area.
Who is the Tronic 4501 T for?
It is a flat Junkers Bosch electric water heater, designed for shallow spaces: cupboards, false ceilings or above the washing machine. It can be hung vertically or horizontally and comes in 30 to 120 litres. It is the option when the usual round water heater does not fit or when you need it lying down.
- Shallow: 278 mm deep for the 30, 50 and 70-litre models and 316.5 mm for the 80, 100 and 120-litre ones, according to Bosch.
- Twin tank: hot water arrives sooner than with a single-tank water heater.
- Display showing the water temperature, with 6 keys to choose the mode; it adapts to the orientation if fitted horizontally.
- Smart function: adjusts heating to your usage routines.
- Energy class B in every capacity and a 1.5 kW heating element.

As a guide, with normal showers. If there is a bathtub or long showers in a row, go up one size. The 80-litre model is wider but much shorter than the 70-litre one (786.5 vs 1,024.5 mm high). Choose the capacity in the selector: the price updates with installation and VAT.

If you have room for a round water heater standing upright, the 2000 T is the cheapest. The 4501 T is the one that fits shallow spaces or goes horizontally, and its class B uses a little less according to the label (1,304 kWh a year for 80 L, compared with 1,411 kWh for the 75 L 2000 T). The 5501i T is the same format with Wi-Fi so you can control it from your phone.
If what you lack is width rather than depth, look at the Tronic 2000 T slim. If you only need it horizontal, the Tronic 2000 T horizontal costs less (450€ for 75 litres).

How to read its technical data
- Energy class B
- The same in every capacity. Label consumption: 485 kWh a year for the 30-litre model (load profile S) and between 1,293 and 1,312 kWh for the 50 to 120-litre ones (profile M).
- Heating time
- From 10 to 60 °C, according to Bosch: 94 min (30 L), 126 min (50 L), 189 min (70 L), 252 min (80 L), 256 min (100 L) and 342 min (120 L). They all have the same 1.5 kW heating element. Thanks to the twin tank, hot water starts to be available sooner.
- Mixed water at 40 °C (V40)
- The water at shower temperature you get from a hot tank: 51, 89, 111, 114, 135 and 174 litres, from the smallest to the largest capacity.

What can change the price
The price includes removal of the old water heater, fitting and connection to the existing water supply and socket. The following are quoted separately, in writing and before we start:
- A pressure reducer if the supply exceeds 8 bar.
- Moving the water heater or changing its position (from vertical to horizontal) with new piping.
- A new socket or a line from the consumer unit.
- Running the safety valve outlet to a drain, if there is none nearby.
- Special brackets for a plasterboard wall or false ceiling, or a hard-to-reach location.

What size of water heater do I need? As a guide: 30-50 litres for one person, 80 litres for two or three, 100 litres for three or four and 120 litres for four or five or if there is a bathtub. We confirm it based on the bathrooms and how you use hot water, from the details you send us via WhatsApp.
