Who is the Tronic 2000 T slim for?
It is the narrow version of the Tronic 2000 T: a slim cylindrical water heater that Bosch designed for small spaces. It is installed vertically and comes in 30, 50 and 80 litres. It suits you when the standard round water heater is too wide: a narrow cupboard, a corner of the kitchen or a small utility room.

As a guide, with normal showers. There is no slim version above 80 litres: for three or four people, look at the 100-litre Tronic 2000 T (560€) or the flat Tronic 4501 T (720€ for 100 litres). Choose the capacity in the selector: the price updates with installation and VAT.

How to read its technical data
- Energy class C
- Label consumption: 571 kWh a year for the 30-litre model (load profile S), 1,402 kWh for the 50-litre one and 1,410 kWh for the 80-litre one (profile M).
- Load profile (S, M)
- The usage pattern each water heater is tested with: the 30-litre model with small use (S); the 50 and 80-litre ones with medium use (M).
- Mixed water at 40 °C (V40)
- The water at shower temperature you get from a hot tank: 44 litres from the 30, 70 litres from the 50 and 117 litres from the 80.
- Temperature knob
- The water temperature is set with a knob on the water heater itself.

What can change the price
The price includes removal of the old water heater, fitting and commissioning using the existing installation. The following are quoted separately, in writing and before we start:
- A new socket or a line from the consumer unit, if there is no suitable socket nearby.
- A pressure reducer, if the building supply pressure is higher than the water heater accepts.
- Running the safety valve outlet to a drain, if there is none nearby.
- Moving the water heater to a new spot with new piping.
- Special brackets for plasterboard, or a hard-to-reach location inside a cupboard.

Frequently asked questions about the TR2000T 30SB
What is the difference between the 2000 T slim and the standard 2000 T? The slim is a narrower cylinder designed for small spaces and goes up to 80 litres. The standard one is 440 mm in diameter and goes up to 115 litres. Both are vertical and class C.
How much does the 80-litre slim cost installed? 450€ including VAT, removal of the old water heater, fitting and commissioning. The 30-litre model costs 390€ and the 50-litre one 420€.
Can it be fitted horizontally? No, the slim is vertical only. For a horizontal fitting there is the Tronic 2000 T horizontal, from 420€, and the flat, reversible Tronic 4501 T, from 480€.
What capacity do I need? As a guide: 30-50 litres for one person and 80 litres for two or three. More people need a water heater of 100 litres or more, which does not exist in the slim version.
Will it fit my space? Send us a photo and the measurements of the space via WhatsApp and we will tell you; if needed, we measure it ourselves free of charge. If the slim does not fit, we suggest the water heater that does.
