Who is the Condens 4700i W 24/30 for?
It is a combi condensing boiler for flats and houses with radiators and one or two bathrooms: 24 kW for heating and 30 kW for hot water. It is the large-screen version of the 4300i and is designed to replace your old boiler without building work.

The 4300i and the 4700i have the same output: for very little more, the 4700i has the large display and faster hot water management. If two showers often run at the same time at home, the 5300i WT, with its 48-litre storage tank, is the one that won’t leave you with lukewarm water.

How to read its technical data
- 24 kW for heating
- Output for the radiators. It covers most flats in Barcelona; we check the radiators and floor area from photos and details before confirming it.
- 30 kW for hot water
- Equivalent to about 17 litres per minute heated by 25 °C (our own calculation based on the output): one shower and another tap at the same time.
- Condensing
- It recovers the heat from the water vapour in the flue gases, which is why it needs a drain for the condensate. We explain it in our condensate guide.
- 94% seasonal efficiency
- Average heating performance over the year, according to the manufacturer.

A thermostat for your boiler: Bosch OR 100 RF or EasyControl CT 200
When you buy your Junkers Bosch Condens 4700i W 24/30 boiler, for only €100 more we install the Bosch OR 100 RF thermostat: a wireless programmable room thermostat using radio frequency, with Comfort, Eco and Auto modes, weekly time programming and a boost heating mode. It runs on batteries and talks to the boiler without cables.
If you would rather control it from your phone, we install the Bosch EasyControl CT 200 Wi-Fi thermostat with your boiler for 195€ more (€100 less than installing it separately): a programmable modulating thermostat with Wi-Fi, controlled with the Bosch EasyControl app.

What can change the price
The price includes removing the old boiler and a standard room-sealed flue. These are quoted separately, in writing and before we start:
- A flue with a long run or one that does not meet current regulations.
- A drain for the condensate if there is none nearby.
- Moving the boiler to a different place (we explain it here).
- Wifi thermostat or programmable thermostat (compatible with EasyControl CT 200).
- Cleaning the circuit or replacing radiators and valves.

Frequently asked questions about the GC4700i W 24/30
What kind of home is the Condens 4700i W 24/30 for? For a flat or house with radiators and one or two bathrooms: 24 kW for heating and 30 kW for hot water, about 17 litres per minute. If two showers often run at the same time, the 5300i WT with a storage tank is the better choice.
What does the price include? The boiler, VAT, removal of the old one, fitting and connection to gas, water and electricity, the standard room-sealed flue and commissioning. Fixed quote in writing before we start.
Can it be controlled from a phone? Yes. It has built-in wifi and works with the Bosch EasyControl app. It also accepts thermostats such as the EasyControl CT 200.
Does it fit inside a kitchen cabinet? It is designed to be installed inside or between kitchen cabinets. From a photo and the measurements of the space we check the clearances required by the manufacturer.
What is the difference between the 4300i and the 4700i? They have the same output (24/30 kW) and both have wifi. The 4700i has the HMI 700 display and hot water management with less waiting; it costs very little more.
How long does a boiler replacement take? Fixed quote the same day from the photos you send via WhatsApp (a visit within 24-48 hours if needed) and replacement in a single day. From November to January it is best to book in advance.
Are there grants to replace the boiler? It depends on the scheme currently open in Catalonia. If there is one, we provide the paperwork for the installation.
